Greetings from Boston!

We made it to Boston! What a great day of travel with our little boys! I was so nervous about today, (even more so after yesterday's weather), but today went without a hitch.  We flew from Chattanooga to Charlotte first, a little over an hour long flight. Jacob was so excited going through the Chattanooga airport, we were walking through and he would yell out "We're going on an airplane!" over and over.  He got even more excited seeing the planes out the window as we waited to board.

On the plane, he was perfect.  Looked out the window, and played cars with me the whole way.

Luke was great as well, but he was less impressed and instead chose to take a nap with David.  We arrived in Charlotte a little ahead of schedule. After a LOOONG walk to our next gate, we settled in for a 2 hour layover. The boys were great there as well. We took a couple short walks, but mostly just hung around there at the gate. Jacob ran around and Luke played, so by the time we boarded our next flight, both were exhausted. Luke fell asleep before we even started moving, and Jacob clocked out as we were taxiing.

And yes, both slept the whole flight!

We arrived in Boston a little early as well, and wow, there is so much snow on the ground!  It is very cold, but being southerners, we were thrilled to see the snow. Jacob was so excited and wanted to go play in it immediately.  Hopefully we'll have some downtime in the next few days when we can.  We got right out and headed to the Yawkey Inn. It is a converted 100 year old Victorian home that has been converted to be housing for patient's families of Boston Children's Hospital.  It is really very nice.  We arrived a little after 7. We checked in and got settled, and pretty much just wound down all evening. We Skyped with the big kids, and they had a good day. Elena is a little emotional, but overall holding up well.  We are good, but all pretty tired after the trip.  Here's what Luke looked like when we arrived...

We are exhausted, but so happy with how today went. Honestly, it could not have gone smoother.  Thank you all for praying for us today...they definitely were answered in a huge way.  Another huge thank you to Miracle Flights for Kids for getting us here.  After a 4 month wait, I can't believe we are finally here.  We have a full day at the hospital tomorrow, and if I can, I will update tomorrow. Love to you all!
